WHAT A DOLL!

It didn't occur to me to get Charlotte a doll. She loves playing with anything that has buttons, which usually means that she's fighting Daddy for the Wii remote. She loves brightly coloured blocks, and passes them between her hands for as long as a six month old baby's attention span will allow. She loves to chomp on teethers, and pretty much anything she can get her hands on; whatever she see's, she explores it by trying to devour it. It never crossed my mind that in her little world of simple pleasures could need anything more.

But, then we went to stay at her Great Grandma's house, and out came her basket of dolls, and we saw Charlotte become excited like never before. She shrieks with delight at the mere sight of a doll. Loud shrieks and giggles, and it is so fun to watch. She forgets all else and sits and shrieking happily to herself, it is so fun to watch her. Of course, these sessions usually end in her trying to chew the dolls face off; hopefully she doesn't think it's ok to do that with real babies. Either way, it looks like we have a seriously girly girl on our hands.

All set for a walk with her favourite friend

The shrieking ensues
(Does she look just like Becky or what?!)
